Once you enter the Connemarathon we can not offer you a refund due to injury or for any other reason. As race organisers we have to plan the event based on the number of entries, which affects order quantities for buses, medals, T-shirts, toilets, race numbers, water, refreshments, fruit, timing chips, etc.
However, we know its frustrating if you have a genuine reason for not being able to run so we can offer two options.
1. Transfer your entry to a friend
If you can’t make it to the start line in 2020 you can transfer your entry to a friend if you do so by Sunday 5th April 2020. There is a fee of €10 for a number transfer.
2. Defer your entry to 2021
You can defer your entry to the 2021 Connemarathon up to Thursday 26th March 2020 (note charges below). When registration opens for 2021 we will send you an entry code and you will need to enter your details again but without having to make a payment. There is a charge of €10 for a deferral up to 5th March 2020 and a charge of €20 for a deferral from 6th to 26th March 2020.
