There will be no parking at Maam Cross, so you must avail of the bus transfer to and from Galway City, Oughterard, Clifden and Delphi Resort. There will be NO parking at race start areas so all participants must avail of the bus transfers to the race start. There will be strict traffic restrictions throughout the course. A full road closure is in place from Leenane to Maam Cross for the duration of the race.
There will be toilets at the start, the finish and regularly along the course. There will be no toilets between miles 12 and 22 of the ultra course.
Report all accidents and emergencies to any volunteer who will notify one of our race doctors.
The weather in Connemara is very unpredictable so it’s best to wait for the latest forecasts closer to race day. We suggest you dress as if it is going to be cold and wet.
There will be prizes for the first three male and female finishers in each distance and the age category prizes will be awarded as follows:
O40: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
O50: 1st, 2nd
