On a personal note, was my 1st ever race/half marathon, started training in Jan 07 for this, am now addicted, absolutely loved the day, great atmosphere, well done to all !

Hi Ray, Having returned to work today having just completed my second Ultra Marathon with you all in Ireland, I just wanted to say a great big huge thank you to you and your team for a great event .

This was my first real run, and now I am totally hooked. I just wanted to thank everyone involved, and say that I can't wait for next years Full Marathon. Keep up the fantastic work.
Ultra Runners in action
Tue, 11/12/2007Winners of last years Connemara Ultra Marathon were in action in the States at the weekend.
Martin Rea and Helena Crossan took to the trails of Hunstville National park, Texas and took the silver medal in the gruelling event.
Martin Rea also took part, but collapsed with only 400m remaining. After some time in hospital in a coma, he thankfully made a recovery.
