I had the pleasure of running the Connemara International Half Marathon yesterday, 1hr 58! Yeoowh!!. The weather was amazing, the course was amazing, the runners, the locals, and staff were amazing! I've rarely had such a good time exercising.

I wish to congratulate Ray and all the team on the organisation of such a wonderful event. I enjoyed the marathon very much. Thanks a million. It was the most beautiful race I have ever run in my life. The landscape and the weather were so nice !!!!
Race Director Invitational Marathon

This is a small race with a very limited number of places available. Taking place every year, on the day before the main event, The Connemarathon Race Director Invitational Marathon gives a few people the chance to experience the stunningly beautiful Course in peace and quiet. Some even use this event as a warm up for the Ultra Marathon the following day.
Strictly by invitation only this year a limited number of entries available at the discretion of the Race Director. Entrants must have already secured a place in one of the Connemarathon events on April 10th.
Entrants are asked to fill in an entry form here: www.runireland.com/forms/race-directors-invitational-marathon-connemara
This form must be submitted BEFORE 7pm on Thursday 7th April. No requests will be taken after that time. If you do not fill in this form, you will not be allowed to take part.

Meeting at the back of Peacockes Hotel Maam Cross at 10.15am for transport to start at 11.am. Please make you own way there.
