Ray and team, Thanks for a fantastic event once again on Sunday. The organisation was super once again and you even managed to arrange the first real sunny day of the year for us!

This was my first ultra and I had an absolutely fantastic weekend. Myself and 18 friends from Nidd Valley Road Runners came from Harrogate to run the marathon and all agree how great it was, we're all still buzzing from it.

In an internet café in Galway. Just wanted to say thanks. We had a brilliant day. The race, as always, was superbly organised, and a great craic was had by all! We'll be back next year.
Race Director breaks PB
Mon, 01/10/2007Connemarathon Race Director Ray O Connor broke his Personal Best at the 34th real,- BERLIN-MARATHON at the weekend.
He ran a race time of just under 3hr 27 mins on a cool and overcast Berlin morning.
Ray’s brother Johnny shattered his PB by almost 40 minutes.
Ray O'Connor 3:26:57 (PB by nearly 11 minutes)
Johnny O'Connor 3:01:50 (PB by over FORTY minutes).
