Hi Ray, Mick and all the Connemara Crew. Many thanks for putting on another splendid Connemara events of marathon, ultra marathon and half marathon. We were all blessed by good sunny weather.

This was my first real run, and now I am totally hooked. I just wanted to thank everyone involved, and say that I can't wait for next years Full Marathon. Keep up the fantastic work.

The organisation was faultless, from the baggage buses, to the fantastic aid stations(those kids worked HARD), to the t shirts and medals. All utterly, utterly wonderful (the scenery was quite nice too-tee hee).
New Connemara Event
Sat, 07/07/2007Saturday the 18th of August next will see the first running of the Connemara Breakfast run.
This great addition to the road racing calendar in Galway is being organised as a fundraiser for under-age athletics in County Galway and has the full support of the Galway County Board of the AAI and the Connemara International Marathon.
The route for this event comprises the final 4.2 miles of the Connemara Marathon route up and along the stunning Maam Valley and includes the hill known to thousands of Connemara Marathoners as the ‘Hell of the West’. If there’s a more beautiful and
