I can't say enough good things about the organisers and the brilliant people who manned the aid stations, thanks indeed for one of the best and most memorable days ever. Looking forward to 2008! (after another day or two sitting down)

This was my first real run, and now I am totally hooked. I just wanted to thank everyone involved, and say that I can't wait for next years Full Marathon. Keep up the fantastic work.

The race itself was great and thank god for the weather, thanks to ray and the organisation team too. I really enjoyed it and will be back next year. The soup after the race was lovely. It was like a meal in itself.

Seven months to go, 1,000 entries in.
The demand for Connemarathon entries shows no sign of slowing down. The number of places available on the start line of all three races are, as usual, limited and early sell out is again expected. Entry will close when the entry limit is reached. Entry closed in December 2009 for the 2010 event and a similar time line is expected this year.
Almost everything you need to know
Reports are coming in that accommodation in Oughterard and Clifden are almost full.
Weeks ahead of predictions, the 2008 Connemarathon has sold out.
There are now just 240 places left for this years event.
Timing Chips and Numbers will be issued in Galway, Oughterard and Clifden.
The Connemara Gateway Hotel has just informed us that the hotel is fully booked for the Connemarathon weekend.
