Well done Ray! Absolutely fantastic event, nothing like it in the world! You really deserve so much credit. We all really enjoyed it, I loved every minute from start to finish, and usually I hate running in the sun.

I just want to thank everyone on the Connemara Marathon team for making yesterday so special. It was a day from heaven - even if large parts of it did fell like hell :)

Thanks for the effort to organize Connemara 2007, there are no words to say how beautiful was the day, and without a proper organization the weather would not have been enough (and the marathon would just not exists).
With five months to go, over 2,000 have already secured their places to run, walk and crawl the 2010 RONHILL Connemarathon.
The famous Connemara International Marathon, often referred to as the Connemarathon, will take place on 11th April 2010 with a new title sponsor RONHILL on board.

Galway County Council has made an order closing a section of the R336 between Leenane and Maam Cross from 11.00a.m. to 3.30p.m. 
One of the greatest distance runners of all time, Ron Hill, is to visit Galway as part of the annual Buitoni Connemara Marathon which takes place this weekend.
