I had a very slow run due to a pre race illness but didn't mind as it gave me an excuse to have even more time on the lovely course and to chat to some of my fellow participants along the way. will have to come back next year to bury the demons!

Ray, I had a fabulous weekend. I really enjoyed the run. It's a unique and great event. Liam, Gary, Aisling and Tony all had a great time. Special mention to the marquee - well laid out and great grub.

Thanks for the effort to organize Connemara 2007, there are no words to say how beautiful was the day, and without a proper organization the weather would not have been enough (and the marathon would just not exists).

Each year a group of runners run the Connemarathon course the day before the big event. Some run again on Sunday in either the marathon again or even the Ultra.
The Boat Inn are welcoming all Connemarathoners staying in or passing through Oughterard this weekend.

There is a limited Park and Ride facility will be available from both Clifden and Oughterard.
The Italian TV channel Rete4 will be covering the Connemarathon this year for their program "Correndo per il monad" which has a tv audience of 1,000,000.
