I had a very slow run due to a pre race illness but didn't mind as it gave me an excuse to have even more time on the lovely course and to chat to some of my fellow participants along the way. will have to come back next year to bury the demons!

Ray, I had a fabulous weekend. I really enjoyed the run. It's a unique and great event. Liam, Gary, Aisling and Tony all had a great time. Special mention to the marquee - well laid out and great grub.

Thanks for the effort to organize Connemara 2007, there are no words to say how beautiful was the day, and without a proper organization the weather would not have been enough (and the marathon would just not exists).

In an internet café in Galway. Just wanted to say thanks. We had a brilliant day. The race, as always, was superbly organised, and a great craic was had by all! We'll be back next year.

Well done Ray! Absolutely fantastic event, nothing like it in the world! You really deserve so much credit. We all really enjoyed it, I loved every minute from start to finish, and usually I hate running in the sun.
Helena Crossen Returns
Tue, 01/04/2008Ultra Marathon Course Record Holder Helena Crossen is giving the course another go.
Having won the Connemara Ultra Marathon in 2008 in an absolutely phenominal time of 4 hours and 52 minutes Helena was hardly suprised to hear that she had shattered the Course Record. She returns once again, and the big question... Is is possible to go quicker?
