  • Ray and team, Thanks for a fantastic event once again on Sunday. The organisation was super once again and you even managed to arrange the first real sunny day of the year for us!

Croi

We have allocated a number of guaranteed entries to our nominated charity for 2008, Croí, the West of Ireland Cardiology Foundation.

These entries cost 250 euro and can be booked directly with Croí. This charity entry will support the Croí Lifeline Defibrillator Project which will suppy Defibrillators in the Connemara region. This charity has been nominated by the Connemarathon in memory of FRANK HAINES.

ABOUT CROÍ

Since 1985, Croí, the West of Ireland Cardiology Foundation, has been to the forefront in the fight against Heart Disease.
Croí is a registered charity, entirely dependent on voluntary effort. Public support has been outstanding and several million euro have already been raised to fund developments in three areas of activity, namely Education, Research and the Development of Cardiac Services and Facilities in the West of Ireland.

The range of Croí-funded initiatives is diverse – from the funding of cardiac equipment and collaborative research – to innovative educational projects in the community.
