  • I just want to thank everyone on the Connemara Marathon team for making yesterday so special. It was a day from heaven - even if large parts of it did fell like hell :)

  • On a personal note, was my 1st ever race/half marathon, started training in Jan 07 for this, am now addicted, absolutely loved the day, great atmosphere, well done to all !

  • I wish to congratulate Ray and all the team on the organisation of such a wonderful event. I enjoyed the marathon very much. Thanks a million. It was the most beautiful race I have ever run in my life. The landscape and the weather were so nice !!!!

  • The race itself was great and thank god for the weather, thanks to ray and the organisation team too. I really enjoyed it and will be back next year. The soup after the race was lovely. It was like a meal in itself.

CUcKOo SaVANte have been described as everything from Lounge room chic to hurdy-gurdy gothique erotica, and it is nigh impossible to give a name to their unique sound, taking elements from so many genres and styles as it does. With influences ranging from W.H. Auden, to Marilyn Manson, Nina Simone and Nirvana, to Jacque Brel and Rachmaninov. Born out of a love all things 1950’s, filtered through a sieve of 60’s folk, and blended with a large bucket of grunge and punk, they create songs that will make you swoon, songs that will make you dance and songs that will make you cry.
