Ray, I had a fabulous weekend. I really enjoyed the run. It's a unique and great event. Liam, Gary, Aisling and Tony all had a great time. Special mention to the marquee - well laid out and great grub.

I had the pleasure of running the Connemara International Half Marathon yesterday, 1hr 58! Yeoowh!!. The weather was amazing, the course was amazing, the runners, the locals, and staff were amazing! I've rarely had such a good time exercising.

"The facilities were outstanding" was just one of the many comments about the pre and post race festivities in Oughterard and Clifden.
Clifden and Oughterard have been announced as the main centers of activity for the Connemarathon taking place next April. Buses will run directly from both locations directly to race start and back again after the race. Post race refreshments will be served at The Gateway Hotel in Oughterard and the Station House Hotel in Clifden. Buses will also run from Galway on race morning. Details on great accommodation deals will be released next week but check out these websites and book early. It is important that you let them know you are booking for the Connemarathon weekend.
