The final countdown

Just a quick note wishing everyone the best for Sunday. The weather forecast is pointing to a very cold day with wintery showers in the afternoon so best advice is to dress accordingly. Connemara has it's very own micro climate so it could be raining elsewhere and sunny there or the other way around. The weather is very changeable too... one minute it could be raining the next, perfect sunshine. So don't get too disheartened if it looks bad at any point.

Registration is just about to open so hopefully you will all get there early and avoid the crowds. You will receive a number, timing chip and wristband. The wristband is your ticket to everything, the buses, finish line, and post event refreshments and also for access to the catering facilities at Oughterard and Clifden afterwards. Keep it with you at all times.

We have some really cool Official Merchandise on sale this year at registration so keep an eye out there too.

This is the final online notice so enjoy the day, relax, throw away the watches, keep your eyes open for some of the most amazing scenery in the world, and savour the unique atmosphere that is the Connemarathon.
