The organisation was faultless, from the baggage buses, to the fantastic aid stations(those kids worked HARD), to the t shirts and medals. All utterly, utterly wonderful (the scenery was quite nice too-tee hee).

Thanks for a great day on Sunday, really enjoyable and very well organized. Overall the organisers did one hell of a job in organising this great event and as far as I'm concerned it was a fantastic day and I'll definitely be back.

Just have to let you know, what a great day we had today. Well done. Really enjoyed the marathon well organised. Even the weather how did you do it. It was a great day.
2012 Registration dates & times
Wed, 01/09/2010Each participant in this year's Connemarathon will be issued with a race number and an electronic timing chip to record their finishing time.
Your race number is generated on March 1st and an Email with your race number will be issued shortly after that. You will need this number (and photo id) to collect your race number and timing chip. A colour coded wristband will also be issued for access to various facilities including bus transfer, race start area and post race refreshments.
No numbers or timing chips will be issued by post.
No numbers or chips can be collected on the morning of the race.
Timing Chips and Numbers can be picked up in
GALWAY
Between 5pm and 8pm on Friday March 30th and
between 12 noon and 7pm on Saturday March 31st.
and in
CLIFDEN
Between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday March 31st.
You will be sent an email after March 1st asking if you wish your number to be made available in Clifden. No requests will be accepted before then.
